He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Joey McCreight; father-in-law, Walter L. Gagen; sister-in-law, Jerri Gagen; brother-in-law, Mark Wilker; niece, Jessica Gagen; and a great nephew, Ethan Anderson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Barbara McCreight; two daughters, Melisa (Patrick) and Katy (Tyler); four grandchildren, Hudson, Cooper, Sawyer, and Emmy; mothers-in-law, Joann and Donna; sister, Patti (Jeff); sister-in-law, Cyndi; brothers-in-law, Dave, Mike (Annette), and Jeff (Danielle); aunt, Frances; nieces, Samantha (Graham) and Isabella; newphews, Chris (Debb), Jeff (Destinie), and Dylan; great nieces, Callie and Ally; and great nephew, Jack.
A Florida State alum, Mike spent the majority of his career serving individuals with developmental disabilities. His passion, however, was his tenure at Pathfinder, Inc. where he spent the last 20 years as director. Mike was well known for his big heart and great sense of humor but he would tell you that his greatest pride was his role as beloved Daddy and Papa.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 22nd at 11 AM at Midtowne Church, in Benton, Arkansas, with Pastor Doug Pruitt presiding. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Donations in his memory may be made to Pathfinder, Inc.
