I too met Mickey playing golf at Regatta Bay in Destin about 8 years ago. They paired Mickey with Tom Bly and me. Tom, Mickey, and I quickly became great friends, and the 3 of us played a lot of golf together the last 8 years. Mickey was funny, generous, and we enjoyed his stories. He always brought Tom and me Moon Pies, which made us laugh. Fortunately for Tom & me, we met Mickey for breakfast at Regatta the day before Mickey was to return home. Mickey was his old jovial and funny self. We said our good byes and that was the last time we saw him. Tom and I are thankful for that last meeting. Mickey was a wonderful person, and we will miss him greatly this winter in Regatta. God bless Mickey, and God bless Patsy and the family.

Sorry to learn about Mickey's passing. I went to 12 yrs. with him in grade school. We were born in the same hospital in West Plains. When we were younger, I spent the night at his house and he had a pet bull that we would ride around the barn. Will miss him.

Mickey was my life long friend. We met in the sixth grade and had a lot in common with each other. We both lived on farms near Mountain View, Missouri. We milked a lot of cows, which was often a topic of our conversations. We were friends in grade school, high school, and we were roommates in college. After college, we stayed in touch and visited each other every year. We talked frequently on the phone. Later in life we played golf. He was a fierce competitor on the golf course and in every day life and it shows in the success of his life and business. He was a good man, husband, father and grandfather. He was a generous man. He was like a brother to me and I will miss him very much!

I met Mickey 6to 7 years ago at Regatta Bay golf club in Destin Fl. We were paired as single players. Mickey would become a member there and at his encouragement I would as well. I could say at a minimum that we played 40-50 rounds of golf together over the past several years. When you spend 4-5 hours with someone on a regular basis, safe to say you like them. Mickey was my friend and I loved him dearly. God bless Patsy and the family. 😇
