Mildred LaJuan Howell

Mildred LaJuan Howell, age 88, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026. She was born on November 10, 1937, in Dallas, Texas to the late Connie Allen and Gladys Mae Terry. In addition to her parents, Mildred is preceded in death by her beloved husband, D.D. "Bo" Howell; sister, Christine George; and brother, Connie Terry.

She is survived by her son, Michael Howell; three sisters; two granddaughters, Niki Nowlin-Ellis (Cory) and Rebecki "Becki" Oholendt; four great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Ellis, Elizabeth McMahan, Victoria Smith, and Xoe Smith; and numerous church family members and friends who were blessed to know and love her.

Mildred's faith, devotion to her family, and caring spirit were evident throughout her life. She treasured time spent with those she loved and found great joy in her church community. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

A memorial service celebrating Mildred's life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Pinecrest Funeral Home in Alexander, Arkansas. She will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
