

Milton Millard Anderson Jr. passed away October 29, 2025, at 95 years of age. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on March 31, 1930, to Milton Millard and Clara Howell Anderson, and except for a brief business transfer to Chicago, Illinois, lived his entire life in the Little Rock area. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in June 1951.
He was honorably discharged from the United States Army during the Korean Conflict in July 1953 after serving in the Marshall Islands, directly involved in the United States’ nuclear testing program. He began his business career in property and casualty insurance with L. B. Leigh & Company, general agents for Hartford Fire Insurance Company, Crum and Forester Group, and Continental National Group. He then worked almost 30 years with First Federal of Arkansas in loan origination, servicing, and administration and opening and managing a branch office in Southwest Little Rock in the 1970’s. Following the dissolution of First Federal in 1990 he finished his career working for several years with the Pulaski County Assessor’s Office as a residential appraiser. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed gardening and puttering around in his yard.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 47 years, Hallie Page Anderson. He is survived by his daughter Holly Lynn Anderson and his son Howell Page Anderson and daughter-in-law Holly Williams Anderson along with their children Austin Scott Anderson (Saige) and Ashley Anderson Post (Michael).
A graveside service will be held November 4th at 2:00pm, at Pinecrest Memorial Park, officiated by Christ Episcopal Church.
