She was a business owner and married her late husband George Alford o July 1, 1967.
She will be missed by her children, Angel Powell, Canessa Alford, Carlton Alford, and Dana Ferrell; fifteen grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren; and her twin sister, Bettie Hammer. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Smith Alford; son, Jimmy Alford; siblings, Henry Ivy, Derwood Ivy, Joe Ivy, Walter Ivy, Bobby, Ivy, Virginia Holloway, Ann Oliver, and Kay Childs.
The family would like to thank Rebecca Adams for her love and care during the last several years.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Pinecrest Funeral Home. With a visitation one hour prior to the service.
