Born on November 27, 1938, in Moline, Illinois, Patsy (known affectionately as Pat or Miss Pat) was a graduate of Little Rock Central High School.
Her life was marked by a spirit of adventure, hard work and dedication to her loved ones and friends. She was a trailblazer - building a dynamic career in the travel and transportation industries - working for Alitalia Airlines in Los Angeles, Flying Tiger Airlines in Burbank, and later with Avis of Arkansas in Little Rock. A woman of great humor and many interests, Pat found joy in travel, listening to music, antiquing, reading, gardening, spending time with loved ones and volunteering in causes she believed in - all while raising three children as a working mother. She was a member of the Rotary Club and American Business Women's Association and also took great pride in researching her family history and becoming a Daughter of the American Revolution. Pat was deeply devoted to her family and was the center of her children's universe, constantly cheering them on to achieve their dreams. Beyond her family, she was widely recognized as a warm and generous person - always helping her friends or giving wise advice or a boost of support to young people who were lucky enough to know her.
Pat was of the Catholic faith and lived her life guided by compassion and kindness.
Pat will be remembered as a wonderful mother, a role model to many and a friend to everyone she met.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son Rob Rayburn; daughters Lori Rayburn-Zammiello and Jana Dillon, sister Jo Nell Kocisko, brother Mike Kelly; and eight cherished grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Charley Kelly, mother Nina June Kelly, husband Bobby J Rayburn and sister Charlene Cruse.
