

He was born on April 24, 1945, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Clarence and Alice (Stewart) Cook. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Rosalyne Diane Cook of Bryant, AR; his son Danny (Jackie) Richardson of Davenport, FL; grandsons Kaleb Wheeler and Austin Richardson of Davenport, FL; granddaughter Katelyn (Joey) Capps of Eustis, FL; great-grandson Zane Capps; and brother Tommy Cook.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Alice Cook, and his brothers Clarence (Dink) Cook, Delmer Cook, Elmer Cook, Leroy Cook Sr, Johnny Cook and Billy Cook.
Robert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He deeply loved his family and supported them in every way possible. A passionate racing fan, Robert also cheered faithfully for his beloved Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed daily walks with his cherished dog Bridgette. He shared a close and meaningful bond with his nieces and nephews, cherishing the time spent with them.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the family’s home on Saturday, July 19, 2025, with visitors welcome from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Robert’s memory.
