

Robert was led home by Jesus on 6/30/21 at the age of 64.
Survivors:
Wife of 43 years, Janice (Hayden) Johnston, daughter, Sara M. Mays and husband Kyle R. Mays, son, Andrew R. Johnston and wife Aubrey (Martin) Johnston, sister, Martha Walter,
Mom-in-law Betty Hayden, sister-in-law Marcy Hayden, nieces and nephews, Brian Fisher, Melissa (Hayden) Settle, Rachel Walter, Matt and Kyle Hayden and their mother Mary Hayden.
He was the adoring Grandpa to Ryan A. Johnston, and with joy and love, he will look down over the birth of grand-daughter Juniper O. Mays.
Robert leaves many friends, cousins, his dear Uncle Charles and Aunt Myrt, and many other relatives who were so dear to him.
Robert graduated from Watson Chapel High School in 1975. After attending UALR, he began his 40-year career in Information Technology at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Before and after retiring, Robert always enjoyed the simple things in life most: Loving, laughing and spending time with his family, playing and exploring with Ryan, going to the beach with family and friends,
cooking great meals, music, time with friends, feeding and watching birds and wildlife from the deck, spoiling Merlin the cat, and continuing his lifelong quality of being a generous and
loving Christian soul to all who came into his life.
Visitation and Funeral will be Wednesday, 07/07/21 at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas
1:00 pm visitation and 2:00pm funeral.
