

Ron Maeder, 88, of Bryant, AR, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, surrounded by his family. Anyone who knew Ron would tell you that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. His kindness, devotion, and sense of humor touched the lives of all who knew him.
Ron was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Jim. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Ann, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage. Together, they raised six wonderful children: Debbie, Brian, Renee (Cassius), Wayne, Julie, Donovan. He was the proud grandfather of six grandchildren: Michael (Jessi), Logan (Sarah), Savannah (Jon), Vanessa, Rebecca, and Joshua. Ron was also a great-grandfather, with three great-grandchildren and one more on the way, and one great-great grandchild, each of whom brought him immeasurable joy. His greatest pride was bearing the titles "best father" and "best grandfather", to his children and grandchildren alike he was their rock and biggest cheerleader. A touchstone to his community and a guiding light to those who knew him, he nurtured the passions and celebrated every small success of his family and those he loved.
In addition to his immediate family, Ron is survived by his brothers: Jack (Gabi) Maeder, Dave Maeder, and Bob (Tina) Maeder, and his sister, Carolyn Lemberger.
Ron was born and raised near Menomonee Falls, WI, where he graduated from Menomonee Falls High School in 1955. After high school, he went on to serve his country as a proud member of the United States Air Force. He retired as a Master Seargent in 1975, a decorated Air Force veteran, Ron’s military career was marked by his courage, dedication, and commitment to his country serving in Germany, Greenland, the Philippines, and Vietnam. His service was an embodiment of the values he held dear throughout his life: loyalty, integrity, and service to others. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Benton, as well as the Knights of Columbus.
Ron’s warmth and generosity will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a cornerstone of his family, always putting others first and providing a foundation of unconditional love and support. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of being part of his life.
A service will be held to celebrate Ron's life and his enduring legacy of love at Pinecrest Funeral Home(7401 AR-5, Alexander, AR 72002) on Monday October 20, 2025 at 2:00 PM with visitation starting one hour prior to service at 1:00 PM.
