Rosa Roberts

She was born December 1, 1946, in Little Rock, to William Eugene and Claudia Elizabeth Mattox Ellis. She was united in marriage to Roy Roberts on September 5, 1970 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Texarkana, Texas and the New Beginnings Sunday School Class. She was previously a member of Gap Mission Church in Conway, Arkansas.

She loved to crochet, play with her cats, and give her son a hard time about getting married. Her wish finally came true last summer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Roberts; her parents; Brothers, Claude Ellis and John Eugene Ellis; Sister, Fredia McKinley.

Survivors include her son, Michael Roberts (Maggie) of Texarkana, Texas; a brother, Tommy Ellis of Hot Springs, Arkansas; granddaughters, Traci Brush and Brinlee Brush; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service in Pinecrest Cemetery in Alexander, Arkansas will be Tuesday, May 28, 2024, 11 a.m., with Reverend Mike Morgan officiating.
