Ruth Ann Bitely Fauntleroy of Little Rock went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 26, 2026, four days after her 88th birthday. She was born in Tichnor, Arkansas, to Marvin and Lillie Mae Bitely on April 22, 1938. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, John Fauntleroy, and their daughter, Judy Ann Bedford, brother, Don Bitely.
Ruth Ann loved all her family dearly. She was a long time member of South Highland Baptist Church and retired librarianat David O. Dodd Elementary School, a job she truly loved.
Left to cherish her memory are her brothers: John Bitely(Becky) and Gary Bitely (Debbie); her unlce Bob Shepherd (Gayle); son in law Jack Belford and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at Pinecrest Funeral Home on Tuesday May 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jeff Dial officiating. A visitation will be one hour prior at 1:00 PM. A burial will follow the service at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
