Sandra Lee Herold

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Lida Richardson; her beloved husband, Buford "Mick" Herold; her son, Jeff Herold; and her grandsons, Nicholas Van Gemert and Chris Van Gemert.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Debi (Rich) Ward and Lisa (Paul) Balderston; her grandchildren, Amanda (Adam) Fish, Matthew Herold, and Kim (Devin) Rogan; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Caleb and Dawson Van Gemert, and Jalen and Juniper Rogan. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Sandra devoted many years of her life to caring for others as a pediatric nurse at Beloit Memorial Hospital. Her compassion, kindness, and dedication to her patients left a lasting impact on countless children and families before she retired.

She had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved Papillon, Sammy, and her grand-dog, Jaxx, who brought her great joy and will miss her dearly. Sandra enjoyed the excitement of gambling, whether at Ho-Chunk Casino, the dog track, or the horse races. She loved the thrill of winning and the fun of sharing those experiences with family and friends.

Some of Sandra's happiest moments were spent with her family while camping, boating, or simply relaxing together. She was also a devoted Green Bay Packers fan and rarely missed watching a game.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the caring staff at the Green House Cottages of Poplar Grove for the compassion, kindness, and excellent care they provided to Sandra.

Sandra will be remembered for her caring heart, her love of family, her sense of adventure, and the joy she found in life's simple pleasures. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

The family will have a private celebration of life.
