Sara Rebecca Hill, 83, of Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with the Lord July 6, 2017. She was born on September 8, 1933 in Wadesboro, North Carolina to J.R. and Pauline Meachum. Sara loved to travel. She was a great cook, always preparing gatherings for her family each Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Sara was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband; Henry Hill, Sr., four children; Henry “Buck” Hill, Jr., Jerry Steven Hill (Derenda), Annabelle Sessler, Elizabeth Quigley, special son; Willie Jay Garner, six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. The family would like to send a special thank you to Hospice Home Health Care for the loving care they showed Sara.
Visitation will be held 9 am, Monday, July 10, 2017, at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 Hwy 5 N., Alexander, Arkansas. A 10 am graveside service will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorials in Sara’s name to Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
