

It is with deepest sorrow and abiding love the family of Shavonya (Shaye) DaMesheá Oliver shares her passing on March 12, 2026, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Medical Center. Surrounded by the love of her family, Shaye departed this world, leaving an indelible legacy of compassion, joy, and unshakable faith. Her presence touched countless lives, and her memory will forever be cherished by all who were blessed to know her.
Born on March 6, 1981, Shaye was a cherished mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend whose gentle spirit touched all who knew her. From an early age, she embraced the teachings of the Lord, accepting Him into her heart and being baptized, a testament to her steadfast faith and spiritual devotion.
Shaye's loving and kindhearted nature was evident in her life. Shaye possessed a radiant smile and a delightful sense of humor that could effortlessly brighten any room she was in. Her warmth and humor brought comfort and joy to all who crossed her path, uplifting spirits and leaving a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
Shaye had a passion for cooking and enjoyed preparing meals for her family. Her family always enjoyed her delicious cooking. Her joy for cooking was evident in the warmth and cherished memories created through each gathering.
Shaye consistently made sure others knew how deeply she loved and cared about them. With genuine sincerity, she would end her conversations by saying, "I love you! God Bless You!" a heartfelt blessing that reflected her caring soul and her desire to share God's grace with everyone she met.
"To know her was to love her." Though Shaye's earthly journey ended far too soon, her memory will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will never be forgotten, as her family and friends will always cherish the precious moments they shared, her laughter, and her boundless love. May the loving memories of Shaye offer comfort and strength to all who mourn her and may her legacy of kindness and faith endure for generations to come.

Shaye is survived by her beloved children: daughter, Dyamond Chalise Mobley (and Dyamond’s children, Shaye’s grandchildren: Sapphire Guiovana Mobley, Emerald Joyce Mobley, and Onyx Blake Mobley); children, DayeMond Tommy Mobley and DayeMia Samone Mobley; mother, Dr. Shella Guiovana Atlas-Evans (Larry, stepfather); siblings, Lachanda Trinette Filter (Benjamin), Jesse Oliver, IV, and Joseph Francis Oliver, and Erica Nichelle Ellis-Grimes (Ricky); two uncles, Bobby Thomas Jefferson II (Charmoneik), and Steve Lawrence Atlas; great uncle, Dr. John Wesley Atlas (Arthurlean); great aunt, Annie Elizabeth Atlas Chatman; and a host of cherished nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
