

2024. He was born on March 10, 1959, to JessIe Albert Shank and Nikita Kaye Miller in
Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
Steve had a love for the Lord, family, motorcycles and music. He worked as a diesel
mechanic until he was disabled due to a motorcycle accident. He then worked with
his dad at Shank Piano Service.
He had a contagious laugh. Whenever he got tickled, everyone could not help but
laugh also. He loved his motorcycles and listening to Rock and Country Music. He
had a large collection of vinyl records.
His sister, Maria, has lived at the HDS in Conway since she was 6 years old. He would
take his parents and grandmother to Conway and take Maria out for car rides and get
her McDonald hamburgers and fries. He was also a big help in looking after his
grandmother in her declining years.
His brother, Eddie and his wife Marla blessed him with 3 nieces, whom he was very
proud of and loved very much. Later, he had the privilege to be a great uncle to their
children. He loved his brother and enjoyed visiting with him and his family.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. He is now walking with
Jesus and catching up with his Mother and Grandmother.
He is survived by his father, Albert Shank; brother, Eddie Shank (Marla), sister, Maria
Shank; aunt, Gertrude Beard (Kenneth), Joyce Branham (Don); uncle, Eugene Shank
(Peggy); nieces, Tiffany Miller (Tim), Dawna Shank Monroe (Joshua), Dana Shank Miller
(Kevin); great niece, Nikita Monroe and great nephew, Noah Monroe.
