Susan Lee Wise was a radiant soul whose presence lit up every room she entered. Born in Memphis, Tennessee to Harry Lee Murdock and Peggy Joyce Murdock, Susan lived a life defined by love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and cherished “Gigi.” But Susan was far more than the roles she filled—she was a force of nature. Her energy was infectious, her laughter unforgettable, and her love boundless. When Susan loved you, it felt as though her entire heart had been crafted just for you.
Her smile could brighten the darkest day, and her wisdom helped make sense of life’s chaos. Susan believed deeply in the power of values and integrity, knowing that these were the true legacy one leaves behind. She was not only a caregiver but a leader—strong, resilient, and inspiring. To her husband, siblings, children, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, she was a role model and the heart of the family. And let’s not forget—she was the best cook we’ve ever known.
Susan was our backbone, our cheerleader, and our fiercest advocate. Her love was unconditional, and her loyalty unmatched. She stood firm for what she believed in, and what she believed in most was people. She taught us what love truly means, and her light continues to shine in all of us who were lucky enough to know and love her.
Though the world feels dimmer without her, Susan’s spirit lives on in the lives she touched. To honor her is to live as she did—with grace, compassion, faith, and unshakable love. There will never be another like her.
Thank you, Susan, for loving us so completely. You will never be forgotten.
