Sylvia Dianne Marshall

Sylvia Dianne Marshall, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026, at the age of 86. She was born on October 3, 1939, in Batesville, Arkansas, to the late Fay and Emily Reynolds.

Dianne lived a life marked by quiet strength, devotion to family, and unwavering love for those closest to her. Though she preferred a simple and private life, she was a steadfast supporter of her husband, daughter, and grandson. During the last two years of her life, she devoted herself to caring for her husband with remarkable love, patience, and dedication.

Dianne was a passionate Arkansas Razorbacks fan who rarely missed an opportunity to attend, watch, or listen to a Razorback football, basketball, baseball, or softball game. Whether cheering from the stands, watching from home, or listening on the radio, she followed her beloved Hogs with enthusiasm and pride. She also enjoyed traveling and dining out with her husband, creating many cherished memories together throughout their 65 years of marriage.

Dianne is survived by her husband, Jerry Lynn Marshall; her daughter, Sylvia Lynn Marshall Burton and husband Gardner Burton; her grandson, Alex Burton; and her cousins, Suzanne Michell (Fred Wilson), and Robbie Michell Bernardout.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered prayers, support, and acts of kindness during this difficult time. Dianne's love, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to her family will be remembered always and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W 12th St, Little Rock, AR 72204. A private family graveside service will be held on June 5, 2026, with burial at Forest Hills Cemetery.
