Tommy was a proud Husband, Father, and Papa who loved and took care of his family. He loved having family gatherings and never let anyone leave without saying “I Love You”. Tommy loved the Lord and read his Bible and prayed daily. He never met a stranger and could talk to anyone. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and everything outdoors.
Those left to cherish his memory are his bride of 59 years, Irene Wade Thompson; children: Kenny Thompson, Tom Thompson, Sondra (David) Thompson, Robbie (Cindy) Thompson, and Alan (Shari) Thompson; grandchildren: Jake, Cole, Lindie, Skyler, Logan, Marlee, Chauncey, Chad, Jeremy, Josie, Cassandra, Lennon, Trevor and Eric; brother, Bob Thompson; and sister, Virginia Fitch.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gene Thompson; and sister, Mabel Hicks.
Visitation will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Pinecrest Funeral Home with a funeral service following at 3:00pm. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 pm at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
