William “Ray” Fuqua passed away Tuesday, July 19th, 2022, right before his 58th birthday. He entered into his heavenly home with family and friends. He was a lifelong resident of the Little Rock area. He was born on July 21st, 1964 to Elizabeth Ann Fuqua (Foster) and the late William Lynn Fuqua in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Ray was full of life and loved living. He loved everyone and was always willing to give a helping hand to family, friends, and strangers.
Ray had many health struggles over the past few years but fought his battles daily and courageously. Ray pursued many jobs including driving a taxi, but his passion was selling homegrown fruits and vegetables for others to enjoy. Often he refused to accept payment.
His mother, Betty Foster of Little Rock, and his brother Richard C. Fuqua of Washington State and two step-brothers Jeff and Doug Foster survive Ray along with aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Ray will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A small celebration of life will be held later.
Arrangements by Pinecrest Funeral Home.
