

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Aimee Fisher, a cherished resident of Pensacola, Florida, on May 26, 2026, at the age of 77.
Born in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, on September 29, 1948, Aimee was the beloved daughter of the late Katherine O’Keeffe Fisher and Marion Fisher. Her life was a remarkable testament to extraordinary service, keen intellect, unwavering faith, and boundless devotion to those she held dear.
Aimee’s distinguished professional career spanned 36 years with the Federal Aviation Administration. An accomplished attorney, she furthered her education by earning a master's degree in law and served with honor as a Commander in the United States Navy Judge Advocate Corps.
Throughout her extensive tenure, she consistently exemplified the highest standards of professionalism, leadership, and a steadfast commitment to public service.
Her Christian faith was a cornerstone of her existence. Aimee actively contributed to her church community, notably serving as a dedicated lecturer at the Chapel at Fort Belvoir in Alexandria, Virginia.
Beyond her professional and spiritual endeavors, Aimee embraced life with enthusiasm. She found immense joy in playing the piano, singing, and watching classic western films. She was celebrated for her sharp intellect, a genuinely warm spirit, and a deep appreciation for the enduring bonds of friendship.
Aimee leaves behind a loving family who will dearly miss her. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Katherine Francis Loi Fisher; her brothers, Patrick Edward Fisher, and Stephen Fisher; and numerous cherished nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her special friend and life coordinator, Jacqueline Shoemo, and lifelong friends, Patty and Bernie Stauffer, whose companionship she treasured.
The family extends their profound gratitude to the compassionate team at Covenant Home Health, particularly Samantha Gandy, Samantha Roley LPN, and occupational therapist Giang Nguyen-Perkins, for their exceptional care and support during Aimee's final days.
Honorary pallbearers will be her beloved brothers and nephews.
Aimee F. Fisher's legacy will be forever remembered through her unwavering dedication to her country, her steadfast commitment to justice, her profound faith, and the indelible impact she made on the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
