Passed away on January 19, 2012 at her home in Alexandria, VA. Longtime resident of the Washington area for 35 years. Also a a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and the Mount Vernon Garden Club. Beloved wife of the late Francis J. Conners, who died in 2001; loving mother of Daniel (Grace), Michael (Janet), Joseph (Michelle), Anne Porch (Charles), Kathleen Jenkins (William), Theresa Alford (Francis Gardner), Susan Rogers (Michael) and the late Francis (Marybeth) who died in 2002 and Eleanor Phillips (John) who died in 2009. Also survived by siblings, Sister Marie Suzanne and Bernard Friel; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Services being held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Alexandria, VA on Monday, January 23, 2012. Viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.; Mass at 11 a.m., Burial at Mt.
