John, Bob and Missy.  I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing.  Your mom was always like a second mom to me.  Great times from sailing the old Irwin 25 to racing against them.  Lisa and I send our condolences to you all and your families.

I have been with you all in spirit during this most difficult time for you. Please know that "Mrs. Leary" was a second Mom to me during my years in VA.  She tolerated not only me, but two of my brothers living at your house constantly ... angel wings earned. She is now an angel to us all. Peace and love to you all!

I'm so sorry to hear about Nancy.  I would have attended services, but I just found out.  She was one of the sweetest teachers I ever taught with.  She was very dedicated and loving to her students.

Your Mom, or  "Mrs. Leary" to me, was a shining example of grace and kindness.  I will always be gratetful for her welcoming spirit and the time spent with her.  She may have been small in stature but her influence was great.

We were so very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a fine lady and a very good friend dating back to about 1970.  We so much enjoyed the water and boating with Nancy & John Sr. (and of course with all of you too!) at ole MVYC for many a year. Lovely memories indeed!!!

We are so sorry to hear of Nancy's death.  John and Nancy were such close friends with my parents.  We have so many memories of them together.  Now they are all gone.  I was so glad to see the photo of John and Nancy sailing in the Albacore.  I remember when they first joined the Mount Vernon Yacht Club and brought that boat.  Everyone was so impressed at how fast they were.

Hi John & Andrea,

Really sorry to hear about your mom's passing.  I'm not sure that I ever met Nancy, but got a little peek into her life through the family photos...What a great shot of your parents on their wedding day looking out of the car window!  Also loved the black & white of them sailing.  It appears that she lived a long full happy life surrounded by a loving family.  If so, she was a lucky lady!  Thinking of the two of you across the miles and sending hugs your way.
