Ben loved Sunshine, motorcycles, trucks, tattoos, travel, beards, coffee.

He loved to eat around the world. He worked hard. Composted. Played board games. Used to drive a homemade Batmobile. Sent surprise gifts. Loved live music. Entertained us all. Eloped to New Orleans. Ordered books from independent publishers. Cooked delicious meals in his bright home in DC with fresh ingredients from Sunshine’s gorgeous garden. He hugged hard.

It’s not fair. We are collectively devastated. There was a lot of blue sky ahead. But he knew he was loved and lucky. We will miss him terribly. A memorial service is being planned for early summer.
