Carlos Eduardo Boza

Carlos was born on August 20th to Julio Boza and Mariela Falconi de Boza in Ventanas, Ecuador. After Carlos graduated from high school, Carlos went on to Universidad Catolica Santiago De Guayaquil. After studying letters and sciences with a focus on law, he decided to come to the US to join his mother. Carlos was passionate about all things history, government and politics and automobiles - preferably classics.

Carlos met his wife, Bertha, in Guayaquil, Ecuador where they were friends and eventually went on to date. Carlos and Bertha married at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Washington, DC and went on to have 1 daughter, Jennifer.

Carlos and Bertha celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 12, 2023. They’d known each other for close to 60 years and were part of a loving union throughout that time.

Carlos was predeceased by Julio Boza, his father; Julio Cesar Boza, his eldest brother; Celia Boza, his eldest sister and Mariela Falconi de Boza, his mother.

Carlos is survived by Bertha, his wife; Jennifer, his daughter; Alexandra, his younger sister, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.

Services will be held at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church in Alexandria, VA on January 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, an organization Carlos felt strongly about
