

Charles DeVill “Chuck” Hudson, 72, of Alexandria, VA, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018, peacefully at his home. Born February 19, 1945, he was the son of the late Robert and Carrie Hudson. He was preceded in death by brothers, Lee and Clifford.
Charles attended Frederick Douglass High School and Morgan State University, Baltimore, MD. He worked as Lead Human Resources Specialist for HQ. U.S. Army Materiel Command until his retirement in 2003. Charles served in the US Army, active duty from December 1967 to August 1969. Served in US Army, reserve program from April 1971 to June 1996. Retiring at the rank of Sergeant Major (E-9).
Charles, or Chuck, is survived by his daughter Lisa C. Hudson, granddaughters Alexis C. Coates-Arevalo and Ashleigh C. Coates-Blankenship, great-grandchildren, Cristopher, Yessenia and Micah Arevalo. Brothers Leonard R. Hudson and Richard R. Hudson and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
