Charles P. Mead, Jr. died on Wednesday, April 18, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Jane Mead and daughters Helen Snyder and husband George, Laura Weatherall and husband Alex, and Beth Snyder and husband Baird. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Laura, Harry, Charlie, Sarah, Baird, Phoebe, Kate, Bliss and Helen. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 21 at 4 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, 118 North Washington Street, Alexandria, VA 22314.
