Mr. Charles Kweku Quainoo was the first child of six, who are Alex Quainoo, Alfred Quainoo, Emmanuel Obeng Quainoo, Doris Quainoo and Dora Akua Quainoo to be born to Mr. Robert Kwesi Quainoo and Madam Dinah Geassi of Takoradi (formerly) on 17 August 1960. He had basic education at Sekondi Takoradi and completed middle at Gomoa Eyeme (Kumasi) in 1978. He came over from there to Takoradi and continued to Normal Technical School Koforidua to further his education in Auto-mechanic in 1983. When he completed Normal Technical he joined Pioneer Tobacco Ltd as a fa. He was there for four years and during that time he met his late wife Mrs. Aghata Adomako Quainoo in which God blessed them with three children, Charles Quainoo, Diana Quainoo, and Enoch Quainoo. Later in 1986 he found the business of buying and selling clothes from Abid9jan to Ghana and then settled in Ghana to continue his business in selling second hand clothes. He later became the family bread winner. Papa, as he was affectionately called, joined the foreign travel wagon to Italy in 1989 where he relocated to Italy (Napoli) which he stayed for a year and then relocated to Vicenza. Papa later arranged for the wife to join him in Vicenza in the year 1992. Because of their children the couple decided Papa should relocate in America because of the fact they wanted their children in abroad all this happened in 2005. Papa relocated in America (Virginia) where he stayed for 18 years and also arranged for his last son, Enoch Quainoo, to join him. With the aim of accumulating wealth for the future they didn’t relent on their efforts but worked hard to complete a store building they were putting up. On the 1st of February 2023 we got the sad news from our nephew Enoch that Papa has passed away.
