Christopher Wade Leffler, 28, passed away in Sterling Virginia on July 1st, 2017. Chris was born on October 8th, 1988 in Fairfax, Virginia. As a young man Chris excelled as a musician, academic and athlete, with dreams of playing professional baseball. He graduated from West Potomac High School in 2007 and later desired to become an anesthesiologist. Chris is remembered for being a friend to everyone, with a large, loving heart. He is survived by his mother Dottie, Father Greg; sister Dottie Mae (Jason), Brother, Tom as well as several uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. In memory of Chris there will be a visitation at Demaine Funeral Home on July 6th from 6 to 8pm. A viewing will be held at Engleside Baptist Church on July 7th at 1pm., followed by a funeral service at 2 pm. Upon conclusion of the service, there will be an interment ceremony at Mount Comfort Cemetery. In the words of his young, beloved niece, “We will always remember him in our imaginations.”
