On Friday, August 8, 2014, Clarence J. Martin of Alexandria, VA, died from complications from a stroke suffered earlier in the week. Born October 28, 1930, in New Orleans, LA, Clarence will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Virginia Hider Martin; daughter, Cecelia Martin Butler; son, Michael Martin and granddaughters, Elise Butler and Madeline Butler. The family will receive friends at Demaine Funeral Home, 520 S. Washington St., Alexandria, VA 22314 on Monday, August 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial to be in Lake Providence, LA.
