Mom’s passion in life was dedicated to caring for her family members, including her elderly widowed mother for 13 years, and taking care of her family-built ranch style home. She was 91 years old when she died. She had a splendid 91st birthday party with family. Elizabeth Bryant died on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. She was a devoted wife to George Bryant, who predeceased her by almost four years. Both were some of the first residents in the Stratford-on-the-Potomac community; very proud of their home literally built by George Bryant and his and her relatives who had tradesman skills. Mom and Dad loved the Mt.Vernon, VA area close by to the GW parkway.
Mom raised 5 children and enjoyed dabbling in fashion, makeup, loved to doodle glamour faces and fashions, attending family reunions and making potato salads, garden salads and coleslaws. She also loved the beach and crab feasts.
Elizabeth and George’s remains will be buried up at Mt. Comfort Cemetery on Monday Sept 8, 2025, at 2:30pm. The Mass is at 11am at St. Louis Catholic Church in Alexandria, Va. The mass will be followed by a light lunch in the church reception room. A small interment will follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery.
