In the early hours of August 29, 2021 Genara, fondly known by friends and family as “Inday” departed this life. This last weekend, she enjoyed beautiful weather in Virginia Beach and Colonial Williamsburg with family enjoying her favorite foods from Red Ribbon to include halo-halo, arroz caldo, mamon, ube, and ensaymada.
Genara was a devout Catholic, loving mother, grandmother, wife, and friend. She enjoyed visiting the National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes in Emmitsburg, MD, going on pilgrimages, spending time with her grandchildren, taking walks at St. Charles mall for exercise, and site seeing on the weekends.
She is survived by her husband Jacinto (Jack) Saraza, her daughter Analiza Harry, and son (RJ) Saraza, and grandchildren Isabella and David Jr.
Please respect the family’s privacy and refrain from posting to social media. Not all of her family/friends have been informed at this time.
For the viewing, please come in business casual attire. As this is a celebration of life, black attire is not required. Inday loved vibrant colors and we ask that you celebrate her life by wearing the same in your Sunday’s best attire. We also encourage red and white as her favorite devotion is the Divine Mercy.
I invite you to share any photos and memories. Thank you all for your kind words, wishes, and continued support.
