Gene is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 62 years, Jeanne (Polizzi) Koski; his daughter Denise (Mickey) Tamer; 4 grandchildren Jessica (Nick) Denniston, Zachary (Johanna) Tamer, Luke Tamer, and Matthew Tamer; 2 great-grandchildren Olive and Vivian Denniston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gene is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Anne Koski, and his brother Ray Koski.
The visitation will be held at Demaine Funeral Home, 520 S. Washington Street, Alexandria, VA on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 5pm until 8pm. A funeral service will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church, 2907 Popkins Lane, Alexandria, VA on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at noon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
