Hongzhen Jin

Hongzhen “Xiao Jin” was born November 13, 1973, the daughter of Ruyan and Lan Jin. She grew up in a small farming village just outside of Tangxi, a suburb of Jinhua, China. She came to the United States over 10 years ago and was married to Alexander David Jr. in December 2022. Alex and Xiao Jin made their home in Mount Vernon, Virginia. They enjoyed gardening and travelling together. Xiao Jin loved to cook and often entertained family and friends. Shopping, spending time with friends and family and visiting the seaside were among her passions. She was inspired by modern and classic fashion. Xiao Jin always dressed for the occasion and looked lovely.

Xiao Jin was preceded in death by her father, Ruyan Lin. She is survived by her husband Alexander David Jr., her mother Lan Jin, her brother Hongguang Jin and his wife Danghua Hong, her sister Hongying Jin, and two nieces Zhuoxin Jiang and Ziyu Jin.

Xiao Jin will be greatly missed by her friends and family in China, Virginia, New York and Florida.

An evening Visitation will be held at Demaine Funeral Home (520 S. Washington St) in Alexandria, Virginia from 4PM until 8PM on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. A morning Service will be held Wednesday, September 2 at the same location from 10AM until 12 noon. Interment will be at Mount Comfort Cemetery (6600 South Kings Hwy) in Alexandria, Virginia immediately following the morning Service at Demaine Funeral Home. Casual reception at Alex’s home in Mount Vernon, VA after interment – all friends and family are welcome to all events.

Xiao Jin 的父亲 Ruyan Jin 已先于她离世。

她的在世亲人包括丈夫 Alexander David Jr.、母亲 Lan Jin、兄弟姐妹 Hongguang Jin 和 Hongying Jin、Hongguang Jin 的妻子 Danghua Hong，以及两位晚辈 Zhouxin Jiang 和 Ziyu Jin。
