I only knew James for a year or so but in the little time I did know him, he made a mark on my life.  What I knew most of James was that he had a great passion for all sports and we both shared a fondness for our beloved Dallas Cowboys.  He was always so friendly and I really enjoyed the times we spent talking sports and other topics of interest.  I will always remember James - a bright and cheerful young man who made everyone he knew feel special.  May God be with him and the family and friends who he touched in a special way.

Jamie, it's so difficult for us who are left behind to understand just why you were called to leave this earth. You were so young and ready to fully experience a joyous life. My heart aches, as I loved you too! All your friends came to say goodbye, you had so many, and they all said that you were their best friend! I found that to be wonderful! RIP Our Sweet baby James! James and I met in our high school years. We lived many states away from one another, yet we remained friends, talked on a regular basis, shared our love for the Pittsburgh Penguins, talked about funny and inappropriate topics. His texts always made me laugh. I used to keep him up to date with scores of games if he was working. He was such a good and loyal friend...I miss him terribly and I cherish the time I spent with my buddy. James, thank you for finding me and being such a unique person in my life. Love you always.

James was a good friend of my husband Danny Olaya. I met him a few times and I remember him having a great sense of humor and a very bright personality. I just met his mom Susan right before I had my son. As a mother I feel so sad to learn of his passing and cannot imagine the sadness his mother is feeling.
My heart broke when I heard this news.

I was shocked to hear about James' death. I worked with him at Trader Joe's (I'm retired now) and was so fond of him. He used to stop by on his UPS rounds in the summertime, and I would load him up with fresh ice and water to keep in his truck. He was always so kind to me (I'm probably older than his mother) and helpful. I sure will miss him. What a sweet man. I am so sorry for his family.
