Janice C. Simmons of Alexandria, Virginia died on Monday, August 15, 2011. She is survived by her husband James Sweeny and their son Alex Sweeney. She is also survived by her mother Margaret Simmons. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 19th at 2:00pm at the Demaine Funeral Home, 520 S. Washington Street, Alexandria, VA 22314.
