John Francis Nagy
September 4, 1949 – August 24, 2017

John Francis Nagy passed away on August 24, 2017 at his home in Alexandria, VA. John was born on September 4, 1949 at Alexandria Hospital to John Carl and Nora Nagy.
John worked as an automotive body man technician starting at a very young age. He had a true love for cars. John was a perfectionist in his trade. He also had a true love for drag racing and was one of NHRA’s biggest fans.
John loved children, especially his grandson, TJ. He thought there was nothing in the world like that "little man." John was truly a one of a kind man who will always be loved, missed and remembered.
John is preceded in death by his parents, John Carl and Nora Nagy; and his sister, Brenda Jean Nagy.
John is survived by his wife, Charlene; his daughter, Deanna Joy; son-in-law, Timothy Wayne Mushero, Sr.; grandson, Timothy "TJ" Wayne Mushero, Jr; mother in law, Mary Stevenson; sister in law, Susanne Stevenson; son, Joshua Desmond; best friends, Robert Dunn and Tim Testerman; and numerous other family and friends.
The visitation will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 6 PM until 8 PM with a vigil service at 7 PM at Demaine Funeral Home in Alexandria. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 10:30 AM until11:30 AM at St Louis Catholic Church, 2907 Popkins Ln, Alexandria, VA 22306. Graveside service to follow 12 PM until 12:30 PM at Mount Comfort Cemetery.
The family invites everyone to join them at Primos Family Restaurant after the graveside service.
