

Born in Chesterton, Indiana, John later moved to Zephyrhills, Florida, where he graduated from Zephyrhills High School. After graduation, he joined the United States Air Force, where he served as an EMT.
In 1994, John relocated to Washington, DC. He built a successful career in technical support, working at the World Bank and Fannie Mae as a 1st/2nd Level Technical Support Specialist. John became certified as a Technical Data Training Expert, which led to contract positions supporting various branches of the military.
More recently, John earned his real estate license in Virginia and began working as a Real Estate Agent with KiaExp Realty.
John is survived by his loving mother, Donna, and his loving father, Ronald, and his wife, Mary Jane (his other mother). He is also survived by his brother, Matthew (Leslie), his nephew Jonathan, and his niece Kaylie, who dearly loved their Uncle John. He leaves behind his Aunt Jeanie Ross, Uncle Charles Thompson, and many cousins.
John was a loving and caring person who shared his kindness and compassion with many. He will be remembered for his warm smile, generous heart, and adventurous spirit. His presence touched the lives of all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
John was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Alexandria, Virginia, where he found faith, love, and peace.
