Born on February 19, 1963, to Jeanne and Larry de Nicola, Pat grew up in Alexandria, Virginia, where he attended Fort Hunt High School and proudly called himself a Fort Hunt Federal for life. He carried that pride through his years, always staying connected to the community and friendships that shaped him.
Pat had a deep passion for sports, excelling at tennis and golf while also making his mark as an avid and accomplished pool player. His competitive spirit was matched only by his unwavering dedication to the people he loved. He adored his niece, Jean Marie, and his nephews, Evan and Kyle, never missing an opportunity to support and celebrate their achievements.
A true sports loyalist, Pat remained a die-hard Redskins fan, refusing to call them by any other name, and he stood by the Orioles through every season. His steadfast love for his teams reflected his larger-than-life personality and unwavering loyalty.
Pat is survived by his brothers, Charles Lynch de Nicola (Susan) and John Barry de Nicola (Dana), his cherished niece and nephews, and a host of friends who will forever hold his memory close.
Though he is gone too soon, Pat’s humor, generosity, and spirited love of life will remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
