Obituary of Margaret Marie Bultman

IN THE CARE OF

Demaine Funeral Home

In celebration of Peggy Bultman's life that was too soon taken from us and passed away on 1-13-2020. Peggy was born to Edward and Margaret Bultman in Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard, Mass. She leaves behind a brother, Jim Bultman, sister-in-law Linda, sister Vicki DiBacco, brother-in-law John, nephew Eric Bultman, niece Kati Bultman and her two children, James and Brianna and niece Julianne DiBacco. Peggy graduated from McDowell H.S. in Erie, PA where she was crowned "PA Grape Queen" and was captain of the cheerleaders. She received a bachelor's degree from Penn State Univ, moved to VA and worked for Pepco until she retired. She was a bridge enthusiast, played volleyball, was an avid world traveler, and particularly enjoyed tennis. Peggy was a wonderful player and loved the sport so much that she moved into a tennis-focused community, Fairlington Villages, in Arlington, VA. Her dedication to the tennis community led her to become the chair of Fairlington Tennis Committee. She served in that role for over 20 years until her death. She also championed many charities and causes close to her heart. Peggy was very generous whether it was towards her MANY friends, neighbors, her community, or homeless animals. She participated in the feral cat population control effort and adopted feral cats herself. She and friend, Susan, were still delivering food with "Meals on Wheels" a week before her death. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends near and far and her rescued "furrballs". Peggy will be buried in Phoenix, AZ. Her friends in Arlington, VA will have a tribute to Peggy at the North Fairlington Community Center, 3005 S. Abingdon St., Arlington, VA 22206 on March 8th. Everyone is welcome. Please contact: [email protected] if you can attend. If you would like to honor Peg, you could donate to Alley Cat Allies, ASPCA, Doctors w/ o Borders, or Wounded Warriors in her name. Adieu and bon voyage on your next journey, Peggy, we love you.
