Marie Patricia Glanz of Alexandria, VA passed away on January 29, 1941, after a long illness. She was born in Norristown, PA on April 21, 1941. She was the beloved wife of Daniel J. Glanz, Sr., Esquire, the mother of Daniel, Jr. and Patricia, and the grandmother of Colin Jankowski. Marie was Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice-Presidents of the American Medical Women’s Association and the American Society for Addiction Medicine. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2012, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8710 Mt. Vernon Highway, Alexandria, VA 22309. The family will receive guests at the church, beginning at 9:30. In lieu of flowers make donations to MPN Research Foundation, 180 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 1870, Chicago IL 60601.
