Mary Elizabeth Bowers of Alexandria, VA at the Virginia Hospital Center on December 17, 2014. She is survived by her brother Richard of Alexandria and a large loving family in the US, Canada and Europe. She overcame the limits of severe cerebral palsy to enjoy a rich and rewarding life; was loved, admired and remarkable in her accomplishments. A small, private Catholic funeral service was held at the Demaine Funeral Home, Alexandria, VA. In lieu of flowers, toast her heart, soul and spirit with a glass of white wine and thank God you were lucky enough to be touched by her. She never gave up.
