I had great fun with Nancy and Hona in school. They took me under their wing when I moved from the small town of
Marlow at the age of 12.  My memories are to many to list. So sorry we haven't seen each other in yrs. But will treasure my time spent with her!

We first met Nancy and John more than forty years ago when we were working on the House Armed Services Committee staff and John was serving in Army Legislative Liaison. What began as a professional relationship quickly evolved into a deep and abiding friendship and mutual admiration society that has transcended time and distance...We came to know Nancy as the text-book example of the successful military wife--the quiet, competent power behind the throne--the glue that kept the family functioning while John was off serving unaccompanied tours in distant lands,  We shall miss our dinner get-togethers at Nancy and John's Friday night hangout--Landini Brothers , but most of all, we shall miss the warmth and pleasure of her presence. We are grateful that her last, critical illness was of mercifully short duration and relatively pain free, but saddened by the knowledge that John is the one who must endure the pain in the immediacy of such an enormous loss. We love you John.

Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Nancy.

Nancy and my aunt Hona were best friends in school and I've heard many stories of their escapades, pretty much all hilarious, through the years. I remember Nancy from when she worked with my mom, Jahrea Smith, at the Vogue in Cache Road Square, here in Lawton. I was little, but I remember that she was so sweet and funny. She was also the first person I ever knew who put rain booties on her pups, which I thought was awesome! I suspect she and Hona are making mischief  beyond the pearly gates.

Mom and I hope that your precious memories will help you through this most difficult time.

Nancy was indeed a very elegant and gracious lady!  Will miss the New Year's Eve dinners at Landini Brothers with her and Mr. Mullett, and will miss seeing her at Belle Haven Country Club.  Sending love and prayers to those she leaves behind.

Prayers and comfort to my Uncle John and cousins, Brad and Mark.  I have many  memories when we lived in Lawton for the year when Dad and Uncle John were in Vietnam. I remember Aunt Nancy as being so kind,  very intelligent, beautiful and oh so funny!! 
She took such good care of my grandmother, Memaw, in her final years.  
Aunt Nancy was so humble and a one of a kind and I regret not seeing her for many years.  Lauren and I are looking forward to being with you all for a celebration of her life. 

Nancy was an in-law twice removed, but such a gracious lady.   She would sit with me at family functions and talk about her life.  She was one of the many unsung heroes of the Vietman War, taking care of her boys while John was away.  She was proud of her ability to run the household on her own, as well she should have been.  I'll miss sitting in the corner with her and talking.  God speed, Nancy. 

I had the pleasure to know Mrs Mullett for many years  from taking care of her beautiful face  she was one kind classy lady every time I called she I’ll reply ok Kiddo  just send it to me whatever I would suggest she tells me if you think so just send it I already miss u and will miss u more every time we are doing a  beauty event  I was very blessed to know u God rest your Soul Rest In Peace my dearest and my deepest sympathy to Mr Mullett and the family

I'm so sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. Even though our paths didn't cross that often, she was always interested sincerely in how I was doing, and had nice things to say about my trumpet playing.  She indeed loved her animals, and we shared cat stories with each other. I very much admired her quiet dignity, humility, and grace. I will remember her as a kind, caring, engaging, and compassionate lady. She made the world a better place.  My sincere condolences to her family.

Nancy was a gracious and generous woman;  always stylish and elegant.  She and John extended so many invitations to our family, and were especially inclusive of my mother after my father passed away. And she had some great stories from her early years in Oklahoma! 
I imagine it will take a long time for this to really sink in, and she will be missed so much by everyone.
