Mom would have loved the fact that so many family and friends stopped by Demaine Funeral Home in Alexandria (not far from where she was born and raised) to say goodbye to her. The mass at St. Lawrence was beautiful and the police motorcycle escort (10!) to Mount Comfort Cemetery was amazing and very fitting for such a great lady. I am so glad Bob and I could get to VA to say goodbye. We will miss her.

I always think of Aunt Nancy when I have Tuna Fish Salad. When mom would take us on day visits to VA from MD, Nancy had tuna salad sandwiches for us.

Praying for strength and peace for the family.
