September 4, 1953 - July 7, 2024
Pamela Leigh Clark was born on September 4th, 1953 in Greenport, NY and passed July 7th, 2024 in Falls Church, VA. She is preceded in death by her mother, Dolores Bohen; father, John McGee Bohen; and sister, Christina Coehlo. She is survived by her husband, Laurence Clark MD; sons, Patrick and Michael Ryan Clark; sisters, Patricia Bohen, Michele Yingling, and Kerry Lynn Bohen; and brother, Sean Bohen.
Before becoming a wonderful mother, she graduated from George Mason University as a nurse and worked at Fairfax Hospital where she would meet her husband of 47 years. She then went on to work in his practice before they adopted their sons Patrick in 1990 and Michael Ryan in 1994.
At 16, Pamela was diagnosed with Lupus, but that never slowed her down; practicing and competing in ballet and gymnastics, running around with her sons, and even earning a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwan Do.
She was one of her sons’ biggest cheerleaders at their swim meets and other sporting events. She made friends everywhere she went and was always supportive to her friends and family.
A Celebration of Life with Mass will be held on August 18, 2024 at 2:30pm at the Hospital Chapel at Georgetown University with a reception to follow in The Labyrinth courtyard adjacent to the Hospital.
Donations can be made in her honor to both the Huntington’s Disease Society of America and the Lupus Foundation of America.
