Born in Philadelphia MS she was the daughter of Ervin and Hazel Ross. Sarah attended East Mississippi Junior College. She was employed in various locations as a nurse for many years while raising her four children.
She was an avid follower of local and national news and politics. Serving actively in initiatives concerning human rights, civil liberties and politics.
She is survived by her four children; Zoe Johnson (Joe) of Roseville, CA, Sabrina McEwen (Mark) Roseville, CA, Jesse Livingston (Stephanie) of Chicago, IL and Zach Livingston of Los Angeles, CA, One brother Charles Ross of Dalton, GA and one sister, Wanda (Ronald) Judson Numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service date and location will be announced in the future.
