Torvall has been my step-father since 1960. I could of not had a better Dad for me than he was. He made me and shaped me into what I am today. He was a proud American and showed it often. He was selfless, kind, considerate, and caring. He had a deep faith in God and was an active member of the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Dad worked hard and played hard, he enjoyed life. I will miss him very much. I love him as if or even more so than if he were my blood father. Dad, thank you for the way you and mother raised me. You will be missed, but not forgotten, Love Rob't

Torvall was a gentle soul who will be missed. Everyday we saw him hiking down Beverly Manor with his walking sticks. We loved watching him, he was a symbol of consistency. Part of this consistency was his decades long friendship with Kitty and Ed. He will always be in our heats.

I may of not known him personally but Dad always has shared stories of the man he called Dad, his step father, Torvall. It's easy to see where some of Dad's passions came from. He will be missed.
