While growing up in Odenton, the Cislo's home was like a second home to me and I have many good memories of Mr. Cislo. Patty and I are so sorry to hear about his passing and we would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to Walt, his family and all that will miss him.

My father passed comfortably this past Sunday. He was surrounded in love by his wife, Ann, and his children, Michael Cislo, Katrina Cislo Geety, Gregory Cislo, Jeffrey Cislo and Teresa Cislo King and his stepchildren, Brian McHale and John McHale. The family decided not to have a small church service immediately. We will honor him at his service at Arlington Cemetery with a full military burial and church service at the Old Post Chapel, followed by a luncheon at the Officers' Club. He had 30 years of service in the Navy and retired as a Lieutenant. All of the family had the privilege of having quality time with Dad over his final days. He was non-responsive most of the time since the surgery on December 28, 2018, but had lucid moment for each of us when we visited. He received last rites with Ann and I with the Priest from their church. He also had the privilege of talking with his children that believe in salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Dad was surrounded by love and caring during his decline over the past years dealing with advanced Parkinson's Disease and in his final journey over the past year. Rest in peace Dad!
