Edward A Ramroth, age 82, of Longwood passed away August 22, 2019. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 14, 1937. Edward graduated from East Detroit High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Central Florida. He was married to Anna Chappell on March 23, 1963. Edward had a career as a Mechanical Engineer in the space program, Defense and Lasers. He worked for United Technologies, McDonnell Douglas General Dynamics and Northrop Grumman. He was a member of Kiwanis and had a passion for boating, fishing and traveling. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, and his three sons, Edward Bruce Ramroth (Jill), Randall Scott Ramroth (Colleen) and Ted Eric Ramroth (Pam). He loved his grandchildren: Jordan, Scott, Connor, Billy, Shane, Christopher, Erica, Brooke, Joey, Kayla, Hilary, Ryan and Mackenzie. He had one great grandchild, Logan. He is survived by his brothers, William, Carl and his sister Linda (Ramroth) Whitney. A celebration of his life will be held at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, East Altamonte Chapel, 994 East Altamonte Drive, Altamonte Springs, Florida, on September 13, 2019.
