For 44 years I was always known as Heather's little sister. Many a time I had to cover for them, while they were out chasing boys or finding their way out of trouble. I don't ever really remember them ever fighting. Their friendship was (is) something that one would be only be lucky enough to find in a lifetime and will surely transcend time. While my heart is broken for Heather and Angela's family, I am happy that Angela is finally at peace. No longer does she have to struggle to breathe, only be able to text since speaking took too much out of her, and not be able to walk across the room without being winded. Fly with Angels Angela until we all meet again!

Love that song and I will celebrate you going home my sweet, sweet friend. You finally got to spend Mother’s Day with your beautiful mom. Though we are devastated at your loss, we know that you are breathing easy, dancing and singing to the Rolling Stones and watching over your most prized posessions, Ryan and Melissa. Until we meet again, love you forever❤️❤️

Dear Ang,

For 55 years we have shared the purest love I have ever known. I cannot express how blessed I have been to call you my sister. You were the gentlest of souls, sitting in Mamaw’s flower garden, crying just because the pansies were so beautiful; the fiercest of mama bears in protecting and raising your beautiful children and the strongest of warriors fighting for every breathe you took.

This is one of my favorite photos of us, Christmas morning 1968. Arm in arm, we have traveled thru our lives, always there for each other. Lord am I going to miss those hugs!

I will miss you every day for the rest of my life.

Forever your sister,
Lisa

This picture makes me cry😪. I became best friends with Angela by accident. On the first day of 6th grade, in Mrs. Lambert’s class, after all of the students names were called and we were marched i to class, I looked around and tealized I didn’t know a soul. When the teacher asked if anyone knew Angela Baker, I raised my hand. I didn’t really know her (or like her) but it was worth a shot. I went and got her and that became a 44 year friendship that I will cherish. So many memories, so much laughter and so many tears. We would watch Starsky and Hutch every friday night and stay on the phone so we could ‘watch it together’. She loved Starsky, I loved Hutch. She was always dating someone she really didnt like so I could date their best friend. We were there for each other, no matter how far apart we lived from each other. Through marriages, divorces, good times and bad. We always had each others back. She has always been my best friend and that will never change, not through this life or the next. This is not goodbye bestie, this is ‘See you later’ and like I ended every text or call with you for 44 years, I love you

Heather
