Dr. Anthony V. Amoruso Jr.

Dr. Anthony V. Amoruso, Jr., 68, of Lake Mary, FL passed away on March 6, 2016. He was born to the late Anthony and Mildred Amoruso in Englewood, NJ on December 5, 1947. Tony was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, co-worker, and friend. He was the kindest man in the world with a generous heart. "Dr. A" earned his Medical Degree from Creighton University College of Medicine in Omaha. He then served an Internal Medicine Internship at Creighton University Affiliated Hospitals. He added a Dermatology Residency at State University of New York at Buffalo. He was a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and practiced medicine since 1977. In addition to general dermatology diagnosis and treatment, Dr. A had extensive experience in Mohs micro-graphic surgery. Outside of work, he was passionate about his family. Tony had a love for lighthouses and the beach, as well as collecting guns and shooting. He will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him and made an impact on many. Tony was preceded in his passing by his wife of 30 years, Cheryl. He is survived by his daughter Tasnee Csakan (Michael); brother, Paul Amoruso (Vickie); nephew, Nicolas Amoruso; grandchildren Cheyenne Stamm, Kyle Csakan, and Tyler Csakan; as well as many co-workers and patients on which he made an impact. A Celebration of Tony's life will be held on Thursday, March 10 at Baldwin Fairchild West Altamonte, 90 Weathersfield Ave, Altamonte Springs.
